Special Ripple Premiere: No Rules, No Plan" from San Diego Indie-Punk band: The Thens

The Ripple Effect is thrilled to be premiering the single: "No Rules, No Plan" from San Diego Indie-Punk band: The Thens from the band's debut full-length album "Lessons In Being Late" out on April 14th on San Diego's surf rock label Postmark Records (home of the Frights & the Soaks).

The band says:
This jam is our fun existential anthem, some deep insights on life all steezed up in a bouncy pop tune. "So you can paint a canvas or just throw it away. The only meaning to life is that of which you create"

San Diego Indie Surf Rock duo The Thens, comprised of singer/bassist Max Greenhalgh and drummer Ryan Mack, take influences from rhythmic bass-led bands like Royal Teeth, Death From Above 1979, and Primus with an intimate twist. The two high school best friends approached the project with a care-free approach to writing each song within an hour or less. The songs cover aspects of youthful angst, maturing (or a lack of), ex-girlfriends, and touring all dressed up in a collection of crunchy pop tunes.

So, check it out and dig in.
